Full answer
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) rates for 2026/27 are split across two components. Daily living component: £72.65 per week (standard) or £108.55 per week (enhanced). Mobility component: £28.70 per week (standard) or £75.89 per week (enhanced). You can receive one or both components simultaneously. PIP is not means-tested and is available whether or not you are in work. Rates are uprated in April each year using the previous September Consumer Prices Index (CPI) figure. PIP replaces Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for working-age adults. Claims are assessed by a DWP assessor based on how your condition affects your ability to carry out daily living and mobility activities, scored on a points-based system.
